Vinyasa is often called flow yoga. Like a moving meditation, this style of yoga is performed by linking together several postures and movements in relation to the breath.

Understanding Basic Vinyasa

This class is designed to bring you step by step in the yoga world. It’s a slow-moving, deep exploratory class which provides the student with the underlying basics of how a vinyasa practice works.

Vinyasa is a method of practicing asana (physical poses), where the asanas are presented in a sequence, flowing one to the next. The practice focuses on aligning one’s breath and spiritual intention with movement.A flow in Vinyasa is like a dance, linking each physical movement with the breath and finding flow in every pose and transition. We will explore basic asana and add one piece at a time to every aspect of Yoga.

This is a complete sixty minutes class, good for any time of the day, if you need to wake up your body in the morning or slow down your mind in the evening.

An easy road to awakening your body, your mind, your soul, and have fun! You will discover its deeper and more personal meaning as you progress in your routine.
